Capt. Mike believes he owns the perfect charter boat for CT fishing.  The FlyingConnie offers Charterboat customers a big pilothouse where passengers can ride out of the Long Island Sound's sun, wind or cold.  Its hull has an aggressive deep “v” which makes for a smooth ride around the Clinton, Westbrook and Madison waters.  Best of all there’s plenty of room to fish, the cockpit holds an ice chest, a livewell, comfortable seating and there’s still room for four anglers, the captain and mate.
The FlyingConnie is powered by twin Yamaha four stroke engines.  These engines are the latest technology, they run super efficient, smoke free and get anglers to the fish quick.
A wide range of navigation equipment is installed: 2 VHF radios, a Raymarine chartplotter, radar and autopilot, and Furuno’s newest digital fishfinder.
The FlyingConnie only sails with the best safety equipment, a Winslow life raft, Orion parachute flares, ACR 406 GPIRB and type 1 life jackets for everyone.
All the boats in Capt. Mike’s life have worn the name FlyingConnie.  The name FlyingConnie originated from Capt. Mike’s Grandmother “Connie” who flew off the handle when his grandfather bought his first boat.  The FlyingConnies have always brought goodluck to Capt. Mike.
